Description

This centerpiece comes as a set with 5 small plates, although the centerpiece and the small plates can be purchased individually as well. There is a choice between a transparent red color with orange accents and a transparent red with black accents. The centerpiece is approximately 21.5” Lx3”Wx1”H. This centerpiece set is especially suited for small dishes such as sushi, small desserts or tapas.
The pieces are fused and fired in multiple layers. A texture is applied in the final fuse firing by firing the pieces on a textured fibercloth. Finally the small dishes are also slumped in a mold to create their shape. The pieces are fired at temperatures ranging from 1385F-1425F. When placed under good lighting what I especially like about these pieces is the transferred image on the underlying surface.
